Embarassing TMI question
Because TTC makes us crazy and our minds come up with the weirdest things... Last night DH and I Like always, after he finished he waited a minute before he pulled out. As he did, I felt a little gush and there was the wet spot. So now I am thinking the swimmies fell out and last night was fun, but unproductive We used pre seed so things were pretty slippery. Am I totally crazy? Do you think you lose swimmies when that happens??

I assume the "good" swimmers made their way up already & the ones that spilled out aren't the ones you want anyway. Its Survival of the fittest

Re: Embarassing TMI question
From what I've heard, the sperm swim out of the semen into the CM. That's why you want EWCM around ovulation. If your unsure, do it again tonight

Re: Embarassing TMI question
It's gotta come out sometime. What goes up must come down, you know?
You do want as much of it to stay up there as possible for a good amount of time...
Maybe next time push a pillow under your butt before he pulls out.

Yup, from everything I've read, the sperm that actually have a chance of fertilizing the egg "shoot" right up to where they need to go right in the moment and then stay there. Any "runoff" had no chance of fertilizing the egg anyway. You're good!

Wow. That is really interesting. I had no idea but it's reassuring.
