Ellie's birthday invite-opinions please
ok so I think I've got a prototype of what I want. I may tweak it some but I put together a sample last night. What do ya think? Please be kind they're homemade so there aren't alot of changes I can make to the format. I don't know how to use photoshop and things like that so I had to go a different route than everyone else has with the invites and I should give credit where credit is due I borrowed the idea from MelTodd's invite for Julia's 1st bday. I think it came out great. The only thing I would change is maybe make the writing a little bolder. It looks a little hard to read but it may be that you took a picture of it.

It looks hard to read in the picture b/c I photographed vellum paper, but in person it's readable. Thanks for the feedback though.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. I like the way they came out but I guess I was looking for reassurance b4 I have to go through all the hours it's going to take to print and assemble them all.

What weight is the vellum paper? I was wondering if you got a lighter weight, could you see the photo more?

I was going to say the same exact thing. Maybe a tad bit darker font.
They look gorgeous

That could be. I'm totally clueless when it comes to crafts so I was just happy I found some that was plain. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I looked at the pack and it doesn't even say what weight it is. It has the size (8 1/2 by 11) but not a weight.
It says translucent sheets

Dont worry about seeing more of the photo, thats the way Julia's looked too, its so post to be like that.
