Elevated thyroid!!
Anyone else? My doctor wants me to see a endo soon
What does this and why now?

its not uncommon in pregnancy but it's definitely something that needs to be addressed. luckily, that's easily done, with synthroid. i go to north shore endocrinology in nhp/lake success, and am very happy with them. good luck!

I had to see an endo after my 1st blood work came back and my thyroid was under active, and I went on Synthroid which is safe to take during pregnancy!
I would def go and see a dr about it, your thyroid needs to be working right for your baby!

I do not have a thyroid issue. I was tested. But I have an endo recommendation in eastern Suffolk if you need it.

That's where I go as well. They are very good. Although with an elevated thyroid they might put you on Propylthyrouracil (PTU) IF the levels are high enough. It has risks/benefits so my endo has done his best to keep me off of it and just does regular tests on me, but it may be a different case since I have a diagnosed thyroid issue and not just a pregnancy related thing.
And Synthroid is if you are under active, not overactive btw.
