Election recount
Wisconsin's begins this week, two others may follow.
WSJ article
Thoughts? I have zero expectations in terms of this changing the outcome. But I have been interested in how it's showing more of Trump's character- raving again on Twitter about fake votes among other things. If he thinks he won the popular vote why wouldn't he support a recount? I do think there was Russian involvement, but again, I don't think it will change anything.

I don't expect anything to change. I would have rather they had done an audit instead of a recount. An audit would look into the machines and possible tampering.

They need to do this. I thought he said he would put it all in a blind trust and he 'wouldn't care' about the company anymore. But there have already been a lot of troubling things- Ivanka sitting in on meetings, diplomats making a point to choose his DC hotel to curry favor, etc.
Meanwhile Fabio got to weigh in on who should be Secretary of State.

Thankfully! This recount stuff has a snowball's chance in hell of changing the outcome, which means it is a distraction from the real work to be done. I am overwhelmed by how many choices already warrant opposition - from cabinet appointments to conflicts of interest to the approaching SCOTUS nomination to his insane tax plan that squanders all our money on tax breaks for trust fund babies inheriting daddy's millions while tightening the screws on poor single moms.

The insecurity of this president elect is ridiculous! It's one tweet after another whining about this. Concentrate on the more important things!! I don't know how anyone can take this man seriously. He puts more into his tweets then anything else. I can't with him!

And don't you think IF millions did actually vote illegally, that Trump should be supporting a recount and or audit? Shouldn't he want to make sure any illegality is cleaned up?

There were illegals voting. There's no if.
People here are freaking BRAGGING about it.
My friend showed me on his phone that his friend posted on her facebook a photo of her green card and her I voted sticker PROUDLY saying she voted to show Trump that a Mexican can still stick it to him on election day. On her post there was a comment that someone had gotten on a bus to do the same in El Paso to cross over to vote Hilary as well. Now I can't verify the bus but he can verify the first post cause he talked to her and told her was an idiot for posting it.
Now my hubby is a green card holder and he would never be dumb enough to do something that stupid. All you need here is a Driver's License to vote during early voting. I could see now why they should require photo ID voter registrations. Because holy hell.
Personally I think a recount will NOT change a darn thing. He'll still popular vote and still win electoral.
All its going to do is waste money and time. Extend anger and resentment. Cause more dissent and separation. Both Hilary and Obama said they supported the results but neither has acted like it. It's shameful.
This whole thing is just an embarrassment.

Nope - he's far from the popular vote! Clinton got over 2 million more votes than Trump, and the numbers keep climbing.

This should be done and he should finally turn over his taxes! Let's see who he owes money to. Russia? I cannot believe we elected a man who bullied mitt Romney into turning over his taxes yet the bully himself won't so so. We absolutely should be investigating all his conflicts of interest.
