Effacement/Dilation?
At what week does the doctor start performing internal exams and/or checking for effacement/dilation?
I will be 33 weeks for my appt on Thursday, so I was curious.

Depends on the dr. Sometime between 34-37 usually.

My Drs start checking at 36 weeks but I was having contractions so they checked at 34 weeks and was 1 cm so they've been checking ever since.
