effacement and dilation
My friend is 75% effaced and 1 cm dilate, the doctor said it could be anytime? Anyone have any opinions on how soon she could have the baby?

I hear you never know but at my 36wk appt (36wk4d) I was 90% if not fully effaced and 1cm dilated. At my 37wk appt a week later (37wk4d) nothing had changed. I delivered DS on the day of my 38th wk appt - 10 days early. My MD said she knew I would go early.

I was 1cm dialated and 90% effaced as of last friday (37 weeks) and I just had my baby this past wednesday at 38 & 1/2 wks.
