EBF and weaning question

DD is 10 months and is still EBF. She recently went to 3 meals (solid food) a day and LOVES eating. She grunts and moans for more food even after she is done.

Anyway I notice her nursing less time and I hear less gulping and there has definitely been a drop in my production (did a pump check.) I figured that would happen sooner or later though.

My only concern is she seems to have less peepee diapers. Is this normal? There is always pee in there but not alot and just finding I can change her less times a day. I hope she isn't thirsty?? We are working on the sippy cup with water but she doesn't "get it" yet and most she will take is an oz per day. Should I just keep doing what I am doing and try not to stress bc she is happy and sleeps good?

Also just a note she BF 4x a day now. I think she is taking 15-20oz a day which I think my dr said was normal??

My DD is 10 mos and also BFs just 4x/day (but she's been doing that since about 8 mos). I honestly don't pay any attention to her pee and poop diapers, but I know she has a ton (poops 3-4x/day). She does also get a straw sippy cup of water and drinks it throughout the day. Keep working on that and she'll get it!

My 11 month old son is EBF as well. At 6 months I introduced the sippy cup to him with water and half strength juice. It took a while for him to get the hang of the cup but after a few weeks he was a pro. He is nursing 3 times a day and eats three meals a day, with the sippy cup offered through out the day. Keep offering the cup and she will get it, as for the diapers as long as she is going everything should be fine but you can always speak with your pediatrician to see on average how many wet diapers they should have at her age
