Eat Play Sleep Question

My DD is four months old and is still doing eat play sleep every 2-2.5 hours. Am I supposed to break this cycle and start a schedule or will she? Is it important to have a schedule if she is happy and her routine works for us?

Sounds like she's got a good routine going. I would NOT mess with it! DD followed a similar routine but the times varied a bit each day which worked out perfectly for us. I could things to fit if we needed to be somewhere at a certain time.

This is how we feel too - but I didn't want to do something (or not do something) that I would regret later. Thanks

Agree with everyone else. DS is 6 months and I just don't think a schedule would work for him. We have a basic routine, but follow his cues. He wakes up at slightly different times each day so therefore, he starts eating at different times each day. I make it work for us. If we're out, I take a bottle with us, or he naps in the car, or whatever we have to do. I'm very flexible with him and think I will always be this way.

That being said, the only part of the schedule I have is at night...

7pm - dinner of solids
followed by a walk outside if it's nice weather
8:30ish - bath if necessary
9pm - last bottle and bed
