Easter egg hunt-anyone do them in the backyard?
Growing up, I looked for eggs in the house. Anyone do them outside? Or only inside?

I've done both depending on weather. Outdoors is easiest because there is more places to hide it.

Both. But I like it better when it's outside because we tend to have between 5-10 kids participate.

We did an outdoor egg hunt at my grandma's every year but obviously that was later in the day when we arrived for dinner.
For the people who do an outdoor egg hunt, do you only do outdoor? Do you go outside in pajamas first thing in the morning? When do you hide the eggs? I'm thinking with the nice weather it would be fun but I've never did my own before.

We always looked for eggs in the house as a kid but my DH did egg hunting in the yard. It's suppose to be nice this Easter so I am thinking of doing an outside Easter egg hunt for the first time with my kids.

We always do an indoor one first thing in the morning and then an outdoor one later in the afternoon with cousins and other family members

Always outside unless it is raining - when we were kids we hid the hard boiled eggs - my kids get the plastic eggs with goodies inside

We hide them in the yard sometimes, and always inside, BUT, this year, I paid $25 for a fundraiser and they will hide the eggs in the yard for me the night before Easter. LOVE that idea and saves me the trouble!

Yes I thought so! Well worth the price! And the money goes to a family that has a son in our school district who is battling leukemia
