Early shower gifts?
Just curious if anyone has ever gotten a shower gift early from someone who still came to the shower. My sister said she plans to come but today her gift to us was delivered, two weeks before the shower. She still says she plans to come but I can't help but wonder why she wouldn't have just brought it to the shower if she really is coming.

Early shower gifts?
I have. My aunt is coming but shipped the gift......she got me the high chair and the only thing I can think of is the shower is in nj I am in long island and my aunt is traveling from nc. So she didn't want to bring it and is so much easier for me that I don't have to bring g it back to li

Early shower gifts?
I have done that when the gift was something larger I didn't want to lug into the shower or thought would be a pain for the mommy-to-be to get home. I would then bring something smaller to the shower and put a picture of the gift in the card.

My cousin shipped the snug-a-bunny swing cause it was bulky and didnt want to lug it from brooklyn to long island for the shower and she figured we would have enough to take back with us that day so it worked out good both ways

A few people did. Some were bulky items and one person is coming on trains and busses and probably didn't feel like schlepping stuff.
