Re: DUST!
I have it too. I think it is because my house has so many windows that it just accumulates. I got a microfiber cloth and go around to all the surfaces and dust once a week but it does not help that much. I am honestly at a loss, but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.

So, i just collect dust, and keep it on my shelves
honestly- i get So annoyed with dusting. as soon as i finish the last spot, it seems like there's already dust where i started i use the swiffer duster, so it traps the dust, but still haven't figured out a way to minimize it even getting there in the first place

Re: DUST!
I am so used to this-- living in the city and now in Hoboken-- a mini-city. No matter how many times I swiffer, those bunnies keep coming back-- they multiply, like, er, bunnies.

Re: DUST!
I used to use the swiffer duster and the disposable wipes and by the next day there would be so much dust! Over the last couple of weeks I've been spraying pledge and dusting with a rag and it seems to help. Now after a week the dust isn't as bad! I should probably supplement and use the swiffer at some point during the week but I'm a little too lazy

Re: DUST!
Omg, I just dusted a few days ago, top to bottom, and its like I never did it!!!!
I used to attribute all the dust to my smoking, but I quit 5 years ago, so I know its not that!

I have CA and my windows are closed most of the time and I still get dust. I don't get it. Where does it come from?
When I had carpet throughout the house it seemed to be worst because I coudn't see it as well. It would accumulate more because by the time I would notice it the dust would be in clumps. Now I have since switched to laminate for most of the house. I still have dust but now I see it.

Re: DUST!
I think when you have wood floors also the dust collects on them also..
My parents have that air purifier(I think the Ionic Breeze) ever since they got it they havent had a dust issue at all

DH lived in Europe and a few mid-western states... and grew up in west TX (nothing BUT dust) and agrees that it's very bad here!
I wonder why?!

Re: DUST!
My new house seems much less dusty than my old apartment and dusting is up there on the "chores I hate" list.
Maybe one of those air purifiers would help.

Re: DUST!
Try not to have the windows open if possible. You wouldn't believe how much dust/dirt can come inside from windows.h
