Dumb question, but kitchen stools
around your kitchen counter or Island.
Did you get counter height stools or bar stools?

we have counter height-- because well, the "bar" area is counter height, not higher than the rest of the kitchen.

If the island is the same level than the counter top you'd buy counter stools. They'll fit perfectly.

just an idea...
we just put abar in our basement using something that was alreay in the house... it is more counter height. we bought stools at Target that are adjustable! They have leg extensions to add on if you want to change them to bar height! Set of 3 was under $120 and they are actually great quality!!!
