DUMB HOSPITAL PHOTOGRAPHERS!
UGH! I'm soooo annoyed right now. At people in this day and age just not doing enough research before SPEAKING!
For days this number keeps calling me and not leaving a message. I finally pick up and its a lady saying Mrs. So and So? Yes...
She says congrats,I heard you just had your baby. When was the baby born? ( HUH?) ...I said, no I had a M/C Months ago. ( plus my baby was due almsot 2 months ago) If your from the hospital like you said you are, maybe you could have checked and seen that?
I mean I know its not her fault, she is doing her job but its annoying. This has happened a lot.
When I lost my daughter at my 6 weeks check up, the nurse said CONGRATS, what did you have a girl or a boy. I had to say, A girl..she died. I mean why cant they CHECK THE CHART?
Then my 2nd M/C ...I was seen for a while for bad paps right afterwards, the nurses congratulated me on my PG for WEEKS, till I finally asked , does anyone check the chart and that ended it.
I just think it adds undeeded stress to our lives.
THanks for letting me vent!

That is just awful. It is unfortunate, but m/c are all too common. You would think that doctors and nurses would be sensitive to this and take 2 minutes to check the chart

how horrible. 
someone else from LIF had this experience too.. its so awful
like the PP said.. things need to be changed a little bit.. MC happens more often that people think

I'm sorry for your experience
I had a similar bad experience. I went for my 2 week check up after my D&C. The NP walked in all cheerful and said "Congratulations!" I broke out in tears explaining that I had a miscarriage. I guess they wrote down that I was there for a post partum appointment and she just assumed...without checking the chart!

Since this is bound to happen to many women so I am surprised too how "insensitive" some people are.
Yes, just check the chart!!!!

I had the same experience, it was horrible. I am so sorry it happened to you.
Even the people saying congrats happened to me-I was in tears every single time.

May I ask what hospital because I had the same thing happen to me this week.... this is after 2 miscarriages... my last one at 15 weeks.
