DS getting shots tomorrow- question

Tomorrow is DS's 2 mon ped appt and he is scheduled for shots. My ped is thankfully working w/ me to space out the vaccines. I would like to go according to Dr Sears alt schedule but according to his schedule, he would do DTaP and Rotavirus tomorrow.

Im wondering- i think i would like to JUST do DTaP since so many babies have a reaction to this.Do you think i should start DS w/ this shot or start w/ rotavirus and do DTaP following week? Or should i do PC and HIB tomorrow and do DTaP following week/month?

Any advcie would be great

Does your child go to daycare??

If so i would recomend the rotovirus one.

We skipped the rotovirus one but that's because my DD is not in daycare and is only watched by family members. Our ped told us that the only way they really push you to get the rotovirus one is if your child is in daycare where they are more likely to be exposed and get ill from it.

No. He is home w/ me until Sept

Then I would definitly hold off on the rotovirus till you need to. I was lucky my DD didn't have a reaction to any of the shots.
Talk to the ped tomorrow about which one they would recommend to do first. They're usually pretty open about that, but if your following the schedule you wanted to then I would just do the DTAP.
