Dry Scalp- 15 Month Old
My DD has dry scalp on top. Only on top. Its like patchy beigy/brownish color and flaking. Its like not the same color as the rest of her scalp. Every once in a while I do notice she scratches her head so its probably bothering her a little bit. And its only on top not anywhere else. I use Mustela shampoo and I wash her hair every 2-4 days. I don't wash it everyday.
Do you guys know what I can do to help get rid of this?
Thanks!

Re: Dry Scalp- 15 Month Old
DD gets this every so often. I rub a little coconut oil on it, and comb it out. That usually takes care of it.
Eta: the coconut oil does make her hair a bit greasy for a day or so after I do it. I find that putting shampoo on her hair before adding water helps cut down on the greasiness when washing it out.

I was about to suggest this- verbatim. This is what we do as well.

I did the same with olive oil and one application did the trick.
