Drowning my sorrows- Pity Party
So AF is due in 2 days and I just cant take it anymore. 12 DPO and no BFP.... I had a temp dip yesterday and not much of a rise today. My nipples were sore from 1 DPO- 11 DPO and now nothing. On top of that a real good friend of mine just called me today and told me she was pregnant. Of course I was happy for her, but as soon as I got off the phone DH looked at me and said "its okay babe, it'll happen" and I said "yeaaaa right, why not me" Sorry Im just sad because I know its not going to be yet again
Sorry I just needed to get it out
Im throwing a pity party- who wants to join? Im having a glass of Baileys to make myself feel better

Re: Drowning my sorrows- Pity Party
I'll join.
I am 9dpiui w/o a single symptom. All I want to do is NOT think about the 2ww, but I just cannot get my mind off it. The disappointment month after month after month is almost too much to bare. Ugh, I am just sick to my stomach thinking about AF showing up in a few days.
Hang in there!!!

Re: Drowning my sorrows- Pity Party
Sunday I had a pity party for myself ALL day. (Found out the night before that a friends younger sister is pg for a third time by a third guy!) I didn't get out of bed till well after noon and then lounged on the couch in my snuggie for the rest of the day. I think everyone deserves a pity party now and again, especially during the ups and downs of ttc. As long as you enjoy it today and then try and bring back the positive vibes tomorrow I think it can actually be therapuetic. We're always trying to stay upbeat and positive during ttc. Letting go and allowing ourselves to feel bad once in awhile is a release. It's like a good cry.
It's your pity party and you can cry if you wanna! (Or drink a glass of Bailey's )

Re: Drowning my sorrows- Pity Party
I want to preface this post by saying I am totally aware that there's really nothing I can say to make you not feel bad! I know you want to be pregnant SO bad and it totally sucks if this cycle wasn't it for you! (Ok .. just had to get this part out before continuing with the 'hallmark' part of my response)
Think of the positive things. You had two months off the pill where you were able to chart your cycles, you ovulated, etc. I'm not just saying that because I wasn't as fortunate- I really mean that that's a GREAT sign! You're so lucky to be able to chart your cycle so fresh off the pill! .... Also, don't forget that originally you were going to start in the spring/summer. I keep reminding myself of that too. Although I wish I wen off the pill even SOONER now, I am just so glad I went off when I did!
This WILL happen for you! As sad as it is to get a BFN, there will be a time when you POAS, look down, and feel like you are going to pass out because you will NOT be able to believe your eyes!!!!!!!!!!! and then you can make one of those crazy excited posts about your BFP, where we will all respond asking how you plan on telling your DH!
Don't worry, that will happen eventually!
Sorry if this wasn't really joining in on your pity party, and more of a 'get back on the horse and ride' post!

Awwwwww you totally just made me smile...thank you I was just so upset last night and I wasnt shocked when I saw a huge drop of 97.3 this morning and now I am just expecting AF either today or tomorrow. Dh and I made plans to get some errands done and go to Cheesecake Factory for lunch. I may not have gotten my BFP this cycle, but I will probably gain some weight lol!!!!
Thank you everyone! I just hope I dont break down and cry when I actually do see AF.
