dropping the second nap of the day?
Over the past 3 weeks DD has not consistently taken her 2nd nap - previously you could set your watch to her..... She will turn 1 in 13 days...
When did your DC drop the 2nd nap?
Any suggestions for a smoother transition?
And did the morning nap then move to the afternoon?

sounds about right, ds#1 dropped his nap at about 13 months...
eta: he dropped the morning nap, so it wasn't difficult to transition... if she is dropping her 2nd nap I would just try to adjust the morning nap...

I dropped DS's nap at 13 months! He would have kept taking it but I needed more freedom to do stuff with him!
We just moved it. Originally he was going down at 11 and 2 (11 am was only for less than an hour) so we moved it to 12:30/1. Took awhile to get the hang of it totally. In the beginning we were doing lunch after nap!
And at first he wasnt napping long but after a week it was fine!

DD dropped 1 nap at a year old.
She used to take a nap in the morning at 9, and an afternoon nap around 1. Now she takes her single nap sometime between 10 and 11.

DD dropped it at 11 months. Now she naps around 10 or 10:30 am. I would like to push it back a little so she isn't as tired by bedtime, but right now she def needs a nap by 10 or 10:30.

DD dropped a nap around 10 months!
Now its around 10:30 for maybe 2 hours
but with starting daycare in a few weeks I think is going to change
