Drool question.....

I thought babies don't really drool until they're teething, but Ava's been drooling a lot lately. Any ideas why? Or is it normal?

Re: Drool question.....

Miranda has always drooled on and off and at a little over 10 months still has no teeth and to me really doesn't show any true signs of teething.
A friend of mine used to literally get SOAKED from her son's drool. She came to visit one day and by the time she left the front of her shirt was wet like someone spilled a glass of water on it.
I think some babies just drool more than others.

Re: Drool question.....

Cassidy had bad AR and drooled VERY early, but didn't get a tooth until she was 9 months. I'm not sure if drooling and AR are related...?

Ryan started to drool like mad when he was about 2 months. He is 6 months now and is not teething yet but it has stopped.. very weird.

Re: Drool question.....

I don't think its always a sign of teething either, since my DS got two teeth at 5 months and now his top two are coming in at 7.5 months and no drool either time
