Drinking from a cup- Question
Anyone else have a child that refused to use a sippy cup but liked to drink from a real cup? My one year old won't use a sippy but she likes to drink from a regular cup or a regular water bottle but we have to hold it of course. What did you do? Did you keep trying or did you let them use real cups and just live with spills?

I don't the answer to this, but DS is doing the same thing. I have about 20 different sippy cups and he hates them all! But he likes drinking from a regular cup. I don't know what to do either.

Have you tried a sippy with a straw? Maybe she will be interested in that.

DD would rather drink from a water bottle or cup. I let her every now and then, but I just keep pushing the sippy cup since its not as messy.

Ella loves to drink from a real cup & water bottle, but I've finally found a sippy cup that she will also drink from.
Meanwhile I have a collection of other sippy cups collecting dust...

I have a friend visiting from the Ukraine and she said sippy cups don't even exist there. Infants just go from breast/bottle to regular cups. Now DH wants me to get DD off of the sippy cups (she just turned 1 year). Too messy for me.
