Drinking durning IVF
is a big NO NO right? DH and I like to have a glass of wine here and there with dinner and im guessing thats going to stop this week when I start my injections right? I dont want to do anything thats going to hurt my chances of this being a successful cycle. Anyone know anything about taking like tylenol or something for a headach durning your cycle? Is there anything your NOT allowed to take?

I'm sure everyone is different. However, with that said:
I was told to treat my IVF cycle from the start as if I were already pregnant, which meant, no caffiene, no alcohol, etc... I was only allowed Tylenol for headaches, and Sudafed if I had a cold.

thats a good way to go about it. Ill double check what i can take for a headach or cramps when I go to the RE office just to make sure and see what the Dr wants thanks

I used to drink wine at least 3-4 nights a week. We were self pay for IVF and I wanted to increase our chances as much as possible. My DH severely cut down on drinking and I totally stopped. I read a couple of studies that said the woman drinking could cut implantation rates by 50% that was enough for me

wow thanks for sharing that with me. yeah i really dont want to hurt any chances of hurting this cycle. 50% is a lot!!! thank you again
