I've only had one 2ww so far...and I had 2 night during that time period where I had 1-2 glasses of wine with dinner.

The baby doesnt share your blood supply that early so it is fine IMO

I didn't, but that's me. I don't drink very much anyway, so it wasn't difficult to do.
If you want to have one drink, I don't think that would cause problems. I wouldn't get drunk, but a drink probably wouldn't hurt.

Exactly, if you cut so many things out of your life and obbess about too much the 2ww goes sooo slow.
I just lived my life the way i did before TTC until i saw the BFP. Even now i am wayy laid back too.

I didn't at first, but then after five months, I feel like I wasted a bunch of nights out afraid to drink. Now I'll drink, I won't go crazy but I'll indulge a little until i see a BFP!

i drank two pomegranate margaritas to celebrate finishing my medical boards - about two days after conception.
then i drank a big, fat frozen margarita/sangria combination 4 days before getting my BFP.
i don't regret it one bit. there was absolutely no interaction between my bloodstream (and the alcohol in it) and the fertilized egg. plus, that margarita/sangria mix was a GREAT last drink before going dry for 9 months. i would hate to have missed it

I partied like a rock star in Vegas for 6 days of my 2WW because my doctor said to stop acting preganant until I knew I was. Well, guess what I found out 3 days after I got home  I keep joking that this baby is going to come out dancing!
My OB said it's fine though as long as you stop as soon as you find out.

I don't drink much as it is, but I don't see the harm in having a drink every once in awhile. If I have one drink a month, it's a lot...but I do enjoy it when I get the chance.
But, when I get my BFP, I'll be stopping altogether.

At first I didn't drink at all every month. Then I found out that the baby wouldn't even share my blood supply, so I drank one month until 5DPO. Then I got my BFP later that week.

Yup, a glass of wine with dinner or an occasional cocktail can't hurt this early on. I'm not a big partier so I don't exaclty go out and get trashed, but I don't feel the need to restrict myself yet. There will be 9 months of restrictions so we might as well enjoy our 2ww

Honestly, I had a few margaritas about 4 days before my BFP. After the fact, I felt a little guilty [but it wasn't planned so I couldn't have known not to], but I felt better once I learned that in those first few weeks, mother and baby do not share a blood supply. I see it as God's way of protecting the little angels from things we simply can't know about!
