drinking and meds question..
i do not drink but this weeknd i have my bff bach party and since i am just in a funk all the time anyway bc of ttc i figured i would get drunk lol
can we drink on the if meds..metformin,baby asprin,lovenox,ovidrel,follistem,metanex,dexamethasone,syntheroid,femara..think thats it lol

I was on femara, dex, folitism, baby asprin and prog. and I asked Dr.B. He said "a glass of wine won't hurt". I had two that month and I was OK. Not sure how much you are planning on drinking, but I would ask if its more then 1 or 2 drinks.

okay have i gotten smashed a few times during the past few years? yupssss. but i do notice i get tipsy alooot quicker.
personally i wouldnt go crazy right at iui or retrieval time...but imo if its the beginning of a cycle or af time i dont sweat it.
the only thing is they say not to drink on metformin but unless you are a daily drinker i dont think anything bad could happen.but again not a doc...just a if girl who needs a stiff one! lol jkjk xoxo

Good question - I don't drink a lot when I do, but on the weekends I typically have one or two glasses of wine if we go out to dinner. I still drank when I took Clomid - but not a lot. I'm starting IVF meds in a month (on BCP now) and I was wondering if I should stop drinking all together. Thanks for asking this!

I usually don't drink during IVF time, but I have so many social things coming up and was wondering this. I had a couple of drinks over the weekend while on Lupron.

I went on vacation while on BCP getting ready for my cycle and drank plenty. But once I started stims, I stopped drinking completely.
I don't know if that was "necessary", but I was just trying to treat my body as good as possible, in hopes it might help me out. If I drank while on stims, I'd constantly be wondering if I would have responded better had I held back. Just my opinion, but I'm sure anything in moderation is fine!
