Dr. Hanauer & TTC over 40
I saw Dr. Hanauer when she was at Bethpage Ob/Gyn. I don't really like the other doctors there and it seems like each time I find someone I sort of like, they leave! WTH? (My step-mother's daughter is a nurse in an ob office in suffolk and did not have good things to say about that practice.)So now I am 40 & TTC # 3 on Cycle # 3. I don't want to use Bethpage for OB and since Dr. Hanauer moved practices I have been getting mailings from them. I guess she took her patient list with her. So...does anyone know how they are over there in terms of testing etc. when TTC over 40? I'd like to start basic testing now instead of waiting until 6 mos have passed. If there is a problem I don't want to waste any time.

In your case I would go right to an RE. Ask for CD3 testing

I would go see her and then ask for a referral for a RE judt in case. She can still be your OB/GYN.
I love her!
I would tell her your concerns.

Thanks everyone. I made an appt. for 10/24. I will discuss it with her & we'll see what she says. Maybe I'll miss AF by then! That would be cool. Just bought my cycle supply of Mucinex & OPK strips! Gonna start POAS when I get a high reading on my CBEFM!
