Dr. Brenner's wife
I just want to say that my heart and prayers go out for the family..
Now i dont feel bad if they push me back a week or too.. Life is strange and it will happen when it happens... Birth and death..
I feel so horrible now, i gave such and attitude this week being told that it was being pushed back.... they should have had something posted..
He will be in my prayers tonight...

My deepest sympathies go out to him and his family. We were planning to meet with him originally but they told us that he doesn't come out to the port jeff office. I feel so bad for him.

No, I don't have much info either but I know last Tuesday (a week ago yesterday) when we were at the IVF orientation class, one of the other people mentioned that Dr. Brenner's IVF cycles were possibly going to be put on hold (I think she said until August but I could be mistaken) due to family problems, and that he was not going to be in the office (she didn't elaborate- not sure if she meant not in the office at all or not in the office enough to do IVF cycles). I guess his wife was the family member they were talking about...

There was an email printout in the office when I was there on Tuesday morning. It just mentioned that there was a funeral on Sunday and that he would be sitting shiva (sp?) at his home.
In my post about my retrieval today, someone mentioned that they overheard a conversation in the office that his wife died of cancer.
It must have happened very quickly because he did my biopsy only 2 weeks ago.

I feel so terrible for Dr. Brenner, he is such an incredibly nice man...I hope God gives him the strength to get through this.

My also go out to him and his family.....unbelieveable...someone who works so hard to bring people into this world has to have something like this happen to him.....There are sometimes when I would love for God to come down and tell me why he does certain things...and this would be one of those times..........

OMG, that's so sad. He isn't my RE but he did a sono on me once and he did my transfer. Such a nice guy. He does so much good for so many people. It's just so sad.
