Dr. Appt tomorrow *UPDATED 1/6
I have an appt tomorrow for my annual. For some reason I'm looking forward to the appointment. DH and I have been TTC for 10 months with no luck.
I know it sounds silly but I'm looking forward to going and talking about it and seeing what they think. Not like they're going to have some magic potion or little trick for me but I guess just the thought of being able to talk about it and getting some reassurance other than the "don't try so hard" might be nice.
Not sure what I'm expecting from this post I guess I just needed to get it out there.

**Update 1/6
I am so relieved I had a great appointment with my Doc. I told her we've been trying and using OPK's. She went a little deeper into our history and we came up with a plan.
They took some blood (like 8 freakin' vials!) to do some basic testing (different hormone levels, thyroid, etc) and make sure everything is ok there. She should call me with the results next week.
I'm not ready to move onto any kind of "intervention" right now but she said we can wait a few months (or as long as we want) and then we can get the ball rolling if we need to. DH would go for a SA and I would probably go to HSG.
I feel SO much better now. I'm hoping having more of a plan will alleveiate some of the stress and help us get our BFP!

We had done our appointment about this back in October after trying for 4 months on our own. Nothing major came of it. My doctor spoke to us at length about different things we could try - Clomid, monitoring, etc. We actually left there at peace knowing that one way or another, we WOULD get pregnant. We decided to hold off on the drugs until after the new year and ended up getting pregnant on our own at the end of December.
The appointment should at least give you a jumping off point and hopefully provide you with some direction!

That sounds like a great opportunity to find out why it hasn't been working for you yet!

You have good reason to be excited!
Hopefully they will come up with a plan for you... and that's one of the best things - knowing that someone is working on getting you pregnant!

Never in a million years did I think I would actually want to go to the GYN!
Thanks ladies! I guess i am looking to have a plan....I hope they can help me out with that (even if they just give me an appointment for a few months...just a goal to get to, you know?)
I serioulsy don't know what I would do without this board!

Sounds like a good plan!
I'd definitely go for the SA as soon as possible. If DH has any major problems, then you could just be wasting time trying on your own.. KWIM?
It's so simple and noninvasive. He can do the sample at home and then bring it into the lab.

I didn't bring DH to this appointment. He did come with me to the one we had before we started to TTC. I pretty much knew what the Dr. was going to tell me so he didn't need to be there.
