Dr. Appointments & Work

Hi ladies!

As I mentioned in my introduction I really can't let me job know that I'm pregnant because I'm in a consult-to-sire position and they're making me a permanent employee. Until the paperwork is signed I really can't tell them, I don't want it to jeopardize the job offer.

I'm running into a situation where my regular OB/GYN wants to see me next on 9/16. He also wants me to go for a consult with a Maternal Fetal Specialist, who has an appt. available 9/15. I can't possibly leave work early both days in a row without raising suspicion.

I don't know what to do....why am I at such a loss??

ETA...I work in the city and Dr.'s are in Setauket.

I would find out if your doc could squeeze you in the same day as the specialist...since you can't take that time off fom work...most docs will understand that and work with you. Like for me I don't have to be at work till 12 most days, so I always need an early AM appt...

I try to make my appts at night. My Dr. is has appts. until like 830PM. So that works for me. Or sometimes I just ask for the lastest appt or earliest appt and try to make up the time at work.
I would def see if they can see you on the same day tho.
