most of them are on bit torrent sites (P2P sharing), and you need a converter (such as bit comet). isohunt is one site, but there's alot more. i've never actually burned a dvd from there, or even DL'd a movie, but you can get them there (they take a couple of hours to DL though, depending on how many seeds there are)

Re: Download movies?
Thanks. I found this site movielink where I can download and rent movies (as opposed to renting them from blockbuster or netflix or something similar).

Ahhh...I see where this is going. Deb...I didn't want them to be free...I just wanted to rent them because I don't want to go to blockbuster, and I didn't want to sign up for a monthly thing like netflix. No worries on that

Honestly, my argument, and supporting articles really are allopen to loose interpretation, so it's not really going to change your mind (i know how strongly you feel about the topic ), or present a completely new spin on the issue. But, the Supreme court ruled that P2P sharing was legal, and likened it to the lawsuit in 1984 against Sony for making VCRs- which, at the time, they tried to argue infringed on copyright laws.

You're right probably not change my mind, however, I really do love to hear new information and hear different stands. Now I can research this and maybe, just maybe the issue doesn't become completly black and white to me anymore. I think in order to make decisions I need to do constant research and reaffirm my beliefs.
