Double yolk egg superstition
So I searched something on LIF that had nothing to do with double yolk eggs but for some reason it came up in my search. I was reading it and saw that double yolk eggs are a sign that you or someone will get pregnant.
Well, we just started TTC this month but last week I was making eggs and had 3 double yolk eggs in a row. I think I have maybe seen a double yolk egg once in my life and now 3 in a row!?
I hope this is a sign that we are pregnant, I can't test until the 20th I'm on edge lol. And if I'm not then hopefully it's a sign that some of you are pregnant!

OMG that is so ironic that you're writing this. I told DH about my BFP this morning. I asked him to make me eggs and after he cracked the last ones he said, "I'm kind of sad I didn't get a double yolk." I was like what are you talking about?! He then told me about the superstition  So funny that you mentioned this

That is crazy! I would definitely take that as a sign. I have only seen one double yolk in my whole life.

I never mentioned it b/c I thought it meant twins, but i'm only having one.

thats weird. I was sick over the weekend so I asked dh to make me breakfast. He was all excited because the egg he cracked for me was a double yolk! I hope your superstition is right!!! On the flip side i hope the fact that one of them broke in the pan means nothing lol

Same here. I had a double yolk and I thought it meant twins. I also had a psychic tell me twins once so when I got my bfp that month I was like but I went for my first sonogram yesterday and just one baby.
