You can print out your Info and bring it with you
ETA: in NYS, you can only vote in the primary if you're registered D or R

Possible fraud.
people are running into issues like this. Call the following
Numbers
, call NY voting hotline 1-866-VOTE-NYC or NY State Board of Elections: 1-800-367-8683. NY Attorney General 800-771-7755 (Tuesday only).

I have been reading a lot about shady stuff in NY, people not showing up even though they're registered, as someone above mentioned. I printed out my info (I no longer live on LI and there is a good bit of corruption here) and also wrote down the hotline numbers in case of a problem.

When I did it, I thought the same thing for a minute but then realized that the county automatically changed back to New York - double check that the county info is correct

Thanks! I actually saw your response last night and was able to get there a little before 9. I don't know why I thought the polls closed at 8. It would have made me sad to miss the opportunity to vote.
