Donating used clothing, etc.?
Where do you donate your used clothing and household goods?
I was donating to United War Veterans Council. I knew donations were sold and the money went to UWVC, but I just found out how little $ actually goes to UWVC and the veterans.
I'm looking for other suggestions.

I donate everything to a domestic violence shelter in Brentwood.

You pull up, they take it all out of your trunk and give you a tax receipt.
Super easy.
I believe they are Big Brothers/Big Sisters

I take them to a local church in my area. They have a community closet and anyone in need can come and take whatever clothing/items they need completely for free.
I won’t donate to places that sell.

Green tree recycling , they are coming to farmers market
And clothing can be used, and in any condition. If items can’t be used then
They do textile recycling ( for rags, mops etc)
I am motivated to clean stuff at last, I think I have been hoarding too much , and am doing 2 garbage bags a week
