Donating clothing and household items
It's Sunday so I can't call  but does anyone know if Catholic Charities accepts donations like these? There's one close to my house and although we usually donate to the Lupus Foundation or Big Brothers/Big Sisters, DH brought this up as another option.

my parents are collecting for http://www.the-inn.org/ - you could donate directly or drop off @ their house :)

I called big brother/big sister:
1-2 month waiting list to pick up furniture
2 days notice on the rest. They take clothes, household items, art not bigger than 18 inches.
