Donating bleached hair- UPDATED
I've found conflicting info on the net.
i know that locks of love (and others) can't USE the bleached hair b/c of the process it has to go through to make the wigs (the hair falls apart), but i read on some sites that you can still send it to them and they will SELL it to other companies and then use the money for their own operations (so, they're still benefitting from it, at least).
But, i can't find anything on *their* site that confirms this.
Does anyone know? Or, know where i can donate bleached hair? (i have highlites  )

*** UPDATE***
I did it!!! I cut 11 inches off of my hair!  i'm actually really happy with how it came out though (i haven't had short hair in 10 years).
Now i hope it at least does some good

Locks of Love told me to just send it anyway. if it *passes* the cleaning they do... it is usable.
if it is bleached, the cleaning solution will cause it to dissipate

it's shorter than i want to go, but if there's a chance they can use it, i think its worth a shot.
