Doll House for a 4 year old

If you have a doll house or are thinking about getting one for your DD, which one do you have or are you getting?

We just got the kidkraft majestic mansion for my 4 year old and 2 year old. It is for xmas though so we haven't given it to them. I heard great things about all the kid kraft ones and went with that particular model so that they would both have room to play in it.

That is really nice! It's a little too big for us but Kid Kraft does have a lot of other options.

Yes, it is quite big. I told my DH he better start putting it together way before xmas. With two DDs close in age I know they will both want to play with it so I wanted them to have room and hopefully not fight each other as much.
They do have a lot of smaller ones.
I also went with kidkraft because the houses can accommodate barbie sized dolls which they already have a ton of princess dolls that size.
If you want something smaller I also heard great things about the fisher price loving family doll house. It is much smaller, but has a lot of nice features.
I did a lot of dollhouse research recently :)

Good point about it accommodating barbie sized dolls. DD has a ton of princess dolls that are barbie sized. In your reseach Chat Icon

did you come across any other that would be good to use with barbie type dolls?

No, not really. Well, except the actual barbie houses. I know target has one in the store now, but it was more money than the kidkraft ones and I wasn't as impressed with it.

Doll House for a 4 year old

We have a loving family set that we got as a hand me down earlier this year. I think ours is the grand doll house. They have many different sets. My b/g twins will be 4 in december and my youngest turned 2 in August. They play so nicely with the dollhouse (most of the time). We plan on getting DD a bunch more stuff for it for birthday and christmas.
