Doing the "deed" ???
Maybe TMI so answer if you wish:
Who continues to do the "deed" during pregnancy? I am 36 weeks pregnant. While DH is still ready to go at any time I, on the other hand, am not really into it considering I am tired, achy, and LARGE!

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
We haven't since we got our BFP (around 6 weeks ago). We're both scared shiitless.
I have my ultrascreen tomorrow. I think we'll feel better about doing it after that.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
1st and 2nd trimester I was all for it. Now, I have no desire, I'm just not in the mood. Too much belly to move around.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
poor DH... we didn't DTD practically the whole 2nd and 3rd tri!! i was just too tired, and our schedules were too hectic.
fortunately things have greatly improved over the last 2 weeks we just made it a point to make time for each other and that made a huge difference. honestly, there are, ahem, certain positions that we use that make me not even notice i am PG

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
We do it at least twice a week. I can't help it I'm a hornbag. I'm the one chasing him 90% of the time. The only thing I told DH was we needed to take it a little easier. We tend to be very creative and right now is not the best time to continue trying kama sutra poses.....lolololo I think if you do it gently it should be ok. XOXOXO BOTB

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
DH and I were busy in the beginning but I have been on pelvic rest since about the 18 week mark so poor DH has been SOL and will remain out of luck for the balance of the pregnancy.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
It's been a while (since right before my egg retrieval) We weren't allowed during the 2WW. And quite frankly, I'm just too scared to, especially after my bleeding scare last week.
Hopefully I'll feel more secure about it once I'm well into the 2nd trimester.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
Up until nnow ( I am 31 weeks) we have continued to do it about 4 times a week. We did it last night and I was so uncomfortable. My belly is just too big now to enjoy it.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
Is it ok to DTD in your 1st trimester?? Do you think it can be harmful if you DTD too early in your pregnancy??

Re: Doing the "deed" ???

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
DH and I have pretty high sex drives(I just can't resist the man ), even though we are still getting the lovin' in 3-4 times a week, it's a decrease from pre-PG.
I'm also only 20 weeks, who knows what the 3rd trimester will bring, I could see a drastic reduction, even now certain positions aren't as much fun as before.

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
Totally don't even remember the last time I have an inguinal hernia which has made everything very sore down below. Yesterday I was put on pelvic rest and DH was like, intercourse- what's that??

Re: Doing the "deed" ???
DH and I try to about once a week. If he had his way, it would be everyday! But even at 28 weeks I am not feeling so comfortable so he's lucky I can do once a week!! I can only imagine what will happen in the coming 2 months.
