I would have said something too. Kisses on the lips are reserved for mommy & daddy! A kiss on the cheek is good enough

You didn't overreacted. It would freak me out too. Understand that she loves him but come on....kiss on the cheek or the forehead is fine, not on the lips !

I have seen one of them kiss her- but always on the check.
I thought it was sweet and was just so glad I found someplace with a staff that loves my DD that much.
However- the lips is a bit odd. I wouldn't care for that.

I wouldn't like them kissing him on the lips - I don't really even kiss DS on the lips.
Not only is it inappropriate but, daycares are germy!

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT overreacting!! Sorry but that would NEVER fly with me. Babies get sick fast enough as it is...they dont need some stranger kissing them on the lips. And her reaction when you emailed her was completely unprofessional...giving you the cold shoulder and blocking you on FB...I mean grow up!!!
ETA: I would also talk to the director to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Ditto - I would actually speak to someone high up at daycare and bring it to their attention. Some freak parent would probably sue over this....I just think it needs to be brought to her attention that this is completely inappropriate for her to be doing...by an authority of hers.

Not that I've ever seen. Hugs yes, if he wants them, but only if he initiates it. And that's okay with me.
The kissing though, kind of germy, I'd rather they didn't.
