Does your 6 mo. old still have a witching hour?

I guess it could be b/c Derek doesnt feel well (cold and cough) but the last few nights around bedtime he is extremely irritable.

He can't decide if he wants to stay up, sleep, to be held, or put down. I'm trying to rock him and he's moving all over the place, grunting, smacking me in the face, burying his head in my chest...I know he is sooo over tired. But now after what is going on with him I keep wondering if this is normal or things that could be a sign of something else? I can't wait for this test on Tuesday Chat Icon Chat Icon

is there a way to avoid him being overtired? At 6 months Katie was in bed for the night at 6:00. Maybe b he needs an earlier bedtime?

I am pretty good with his tired cues...the problem is he is so nosy and follow his big brother around so everytime he hears him, he stops drinking, sits up to see what is going on. And than he wants to go and "play" with him.

he gets cranky at 6:30, which is when he ALWAYS wants to eat...he will cry, then eat, then cry a bit and fall asleep Chat Icon Chat Icon
