Does this ever happen to you?

It is only CD4 right now and I am already getting nervous about trying this month. When it is time to actually Chat Icon I know I will be fine, but I just want it to happen for us so badly that I can't help but to be nervous it won't. It took 7 months with DD and I was almost 4 years younger then. I know I should go into it with a positive outlook and I really am trying, but it is just hard when you want something so badly and you can't do much to control it (athough with opks, deanna's plan and some preseed I am definitely tryingChat Icon This will be our 3rd cycle trying this time around and I had forgotten how sad it can be when AF shows or you get a BFN. Does anyone get like this? Again, once all the Chat Icon begins I am sure I will just concentrate on that, but all the anticipation beforehand just gets to meChat Icon

Re: Does this ever happen to you?

This is actually our first month trying but I'm super nervous about our BD schedule. I am just worried we won't hit it at the right time, so to speak. We started on CD 6 BDing every other day, CD 10 now and I plan to keep this up until about CD 18. I figure that way I really can't go wrong but it is definitely nerve-wracking. Hang in there and just try not to stress about it - stress never helps anyone!!!

after 15 cycles, honestly you kinda get used to it. Don't stress out over it. Do the best that you can and enjoy it as much as possible.

Chat Icon

I think I am just a worrier. It took 7 cycles last time and I was younger. Part of me worries that if it doesn't happen soon, it just isn't going to. I think I am just surrounded by very fertile friends and family that get pregnant just by thinking about it. Once AF ends and the Chat Icon begins it is easier to deal with, but I just don't like all the anticipation. I am not going to stress over it though. What is meant to be will beChat Icon

I'm like this. I'm a total planner and control freak. So not being able to plan 100% and control the whole process makes me crazy.

I could totally understand how you feel. I don't get nervous at the start of my cycle, but I do get really anxious around day 8 knowing the potential that's arriving in the approaching days. Then I feel excited and full of hope around ovulation. Now I'm 7 dpo and I feel a little deflated and pessimistic wondering if all our hard work paid off. The emotional joys of TTC!

Absolutely! It is a horrible feeling to get AF every month when you want to have a child.
For me, at first it was an awful feeling, but after a few months or so it became just mild disappointment... Like hearing a store doesn't carry a sweater you love in your size.
By the time I got my BFP, I was convinced the test was wrong.

What you are feeling is totally normal and valid. Im a worrier by nature, and im told to relax all the time, but its easier said then done. Hang in there!! You will get your BFP!!
