Does this board ever make anyone feel old?
There are days when I am on here, and I have never heard of 2/3 of the people posted. It is starting to give me an "I'm obviously not cool anymore" complex and making me feel like my mother.

The names I don't recognize are people from shows like the Bachelor or other reality shows. It makes me sad because too many people are famous because of reality tv - meaning, they usually are talentless.

I was sorta thinking the same thing, like "I have no idea who half these people are".
But then again, they are over dressed, over exposed, less talent than what I would want or expect.
So I just feel sorry tay they have to maintain a lifestyle to maintain celebrity.

Honestly no - it just makes me thankful that I don't watch all the crap on TV today. Half this board is full of pics of pseudo-celebs from reality TV shows and when I see who they are I  a lot and skip to the pics of actual celebs.

Exactly! I actually consider it a point of pride that at 27 I don't watch Bravo or MTV anymore.

I seem to be okay with names but when people make jokes abut Mariah Carey's age I feel old. She graduated from my high school the year after I did and she was one of the youngest in her grade. So I am almost a year and a half older than she is and we are certainly from the same generation.
