Sometimes I feel like such an old hag on the pregnancy board

A lot of the girls are first time moms and so excited.

Me? I'm excited too but I'm also jaded since I've been down this road a couple of times-I know it's not all puppy dogs and rainbows

I wish I could harness some of the 1st timers energy

I lurk over there to see how the 2nd & 3rd timers are doing.

I feel detached from the 1st timers too, and not just because I'm not pregnant, but because I just don't have the energy to keep up with all the excitement. I've wondered if I'll be all jaded the 2nd time around.

You are not alone I feel a little out of it myself and Xavier is only 16 months!

I'm with you! I feel so out of it when the 1st timers are all excited about the little things, I don't see it as a big deal anymore, sad, but I think of the bigger picture now.

Hey, I very much enjoy that I'm so over whether or not cheese is pasteurized, if I can have a big turkey sandwich, a sip of wine, a splenda in my coffee.
Sooooo over it! That's the perk of being an old hag over there.

I felt the same way with my last pregnancy. I felt very out of place and didn't post too often.
