Ok so I had to work tonight and when I was leaving I noticed my neighbors interior car light was still on and I was going to tell her but I was running late for work and Im not sure which apartment number she is and I made myself feel better by reminding myself of what a b***h she is ( I have said hello to her everytime I pass and she gives me a nasty look and ignores me ) so I left !! So that was my bad deed tonight
My good deed turned into a chaotic couple of hrs at work
I got to work at 9pm and someone left their pocketbook there( in my store) so i felt guilty an hr later and so I looked through her bag to see if I could find a phone #....... Not one # !!
So I tried calling the pharmacy # on her prescription and they were closed I tried calling her credit card # ( 1 of like 10 of them ) and they said they couldn't do anything except cancel it ... so I did I dont know they said it was the right thing to do !! I tried 411 but they didn't have a listing for her
So anyway I noticed she had asthma meds and felt bad if she needed it .... I didn't know what else to do so I called the precinct the officer said he would transfer my call to another officer on duty and he will pick it up and bring it to this woman !! So the officer comes and I tell him on her ID there is only a PO box # and so he didn't seem confident in being able to return it... so I said if you wan't to leave it maybe she will come back tomorrow? but he said its too late , I already called he has to take it and if she comes back she can get it from the precinct!!
Well 1/2 hr later he came back and said he found her and is giving it to her now !! He was laughing b/c one of the meds in there was codine and he said thats propably why she forgot her bag there
so that was my evening thank you for reading and sorry about my horrible grammar it is 2:30 am and I don't care
Hey Val you MOOOORE than made up for the car light lady!!!! Your neighbor probably would've been mad anyway cause after you helped her out she'd be FORCED to be nice and acknowledge you going forward and is there anything worse than fake nice?? That was a herculean effort in getting the woman's purse back to her; I know if it were me I'd be in your store tonight with a reward for you
