Does it get better and easier?
Tell me things get better after that first dificult year. I just feel like DH and I are so disconnected lately. We talked last week, my aprents babysat, but he still doesn't get how hard everything is and I just feel like we're not connecting. Its so frustrating. I mean we have good days, laughing, watching TV, playing with DS, but most of the time its a challenge - we're both so exhausted all the time!

It does get better. DH and I were just talking about it last night, the last month or so has been sooooooo much better in general. DS is more on a schedule and in a lot of ways, easier to work with. DH has learned to pitch in more (and it's easier for him cuz he can relate to DS more now) so I have more down time. We are learning to reconnect now because we do feel we'd grown "apart" over the last year.

No advice yet b/c dd is only 5 months. Just sending I know exactly how you feel. FM if you need someone to talk to. We seem to be in the same boat.
