Does everyone look good in Aviators?
Just a spin-off of the other thread..
I want to buy Aviator-style sunglasses, but I feel I look so dopey in them! I like them on everyone else, though.
I usually just buy simple black or tortoise-shell sunglasses.
Do you think they look good on everyone? Or do you need a certain face shape?

There are different shapes - some make me look like I'm crying, they pull my face down. I have Juicy aviators - theyre smaller than Raybans

YES!!!!! I know what you mean about the face pulled down look.
I looked like that damn Dali painting when I tried them on!
I will look into the Juicy ones.

Raybans look hideous on me - the shape is so bad for my face.
I bought a pair of Chanel aviators last year that have a more square shape and I love them!

Normal aviators look awful on me… actually most sunglasses look awful on me, but my boyfriend bought me these "baby" aviators and they look OK. They're called "baby beach"

I have a pair of Michael Kors, they are the only ones that do not look ridiculous on me. They are smaller frames.

Haha I know what you mean. In the right size though, I think everyone looks pretty good in aviators. Those are my go to glasses.

depends on the aviators.
I tried 58MM orginal Ray Ban aviators and they were too big for my face...the lens was too elongated for my face. My Maui Jim aviators (called Pilot) fit my face better.

When they first became popular again, I thought, really, I will never wear them but I tried a pair on & loved them! I have a bunch of different pairs & they actually look good on me. lol

The smaller ones do. Juicy or Marc Jacobs..on me anyway. The Ray Bans are too big for most faces. Everyone looks like a bug when the sunglasses are too big.

My dad can rock them!
I have tried them but honestly I think they look masculine..... I think it depends on the person though because some women look really good in them. I will never be that woman.
