Does anyone use DVR?
We are thinking of getting it after the Holidays...Time Warner has a package that is only about $10 extra per month...is it worth it?

ABSOLUTELY!!! DH and I couldn't live without it. We have Cablevisions version and we love that you can tape 2 shows at once, where on TiVo you can't do that.

I seriously couldn;t live without it. No pressure to watch TV at the set time a program is on, in fact DH & I now start to watch TV about 15 minutes into a program just so we could FF all the commericals. You can also pause as you are watching something live and go to the bathroom or answer the phone. It's nice.

LOVE our DVR. Tape one show and watch another. Tape 2 shows at the same time. It's great. rewind tv and then go back to live tv. What a brilliant invention. DVR is fabulous

Once you go DVR you never go back... we need a box for every TV cause we are so used to being able to watch TV at our own pace..
It is absolutely worth it.

It is. I have it through Time Warner. It's a cable box that records up to 2 TV shows at a time (or you can tape one while watching one), pause and rewind live TV, etc. It's great!

YES!!! What a difference! Not only does it tape for you and tape 2 recordings, but there have been countless times when DH would call me into the room and show me something by rewinding. We've had it for about 6 months and it is our favorite thing ever!
