Does anyone still use a film camera?

I have a really nice SLR film camera that I use to take b&w pictures and that I always bring to special occasions. It takes the nicest photographs. The other day when I went to drop off my film at the camera shop down the street, a woman made several comments about how she just couldn't believe that I still used film. I do have a point and shoot digital, I just like my SLR from time to time. They give you a cd with the images on it, so it's not like you can't upload. The whole situation made me curious. Anyone out there still use film as well?

No, but we too still have a 35 mm and a Nikon SLR and we have not used either in years. But we also can't part with them.

yes i use my 35mm all the time. i'm not into the digital thing.

and i'm glad i do---when DS was born, the digital camera decided not to work right at the moment he was born! thank goodness we had my film camera or we'd have no photos of him at the beginning.

I have a nice SLR that I still use from time to time. No matter how good digital is it doesn't give you the tonal range like film.

I love my N80. I have not used it since I got the D80...but I definitely plan to use it, especially since I love printing. I can't wait to get into a darkroom again!

I have two old semi-pros, but dont bother since the cost of film/processing/time/& also the disadvantange of not knowing whats on the roll keeps me hooked onto digital.
