Does anyone have this problem with jeans?

I buy jeans that fit nice and snug in the store and than after 2 hours of wearing them I think I should have bought a smaller size Chat Icon They get loose around my waist, butt and legs and than everytime I wash them I have to throw them in the dryer to try and shrink them again. YES! This happens to me as well. It is so annoyingChat Icon
I actually tried to go down a size once, but they were too small. I can't find good fitting jeans.

yes that's very normal, that's why they always tell you to buy the ones that are tight on you b/c they stretch so much, the problem is that smaller size is too small, lol.

YES! I also find that the waist often gapes in the back, but they are snug in my thighs.

I read somewhere that jeans stretch a quarter of an inch after you buy them. So you have to allow for that in the store. But it still makes it hard to judge!

Yes, that's why I wash and dry them every week.

By the end of the week, they desperately need to be thrown in the dryer to tighten them up a bit.

This happens ALL the time. I can't fit into the smaller ones, so I just deal with it. My husband is always telling me to use a belt Chat Icon

Re: Does anyone have this problem with jeans?

geez - I thought it was just me. I bought my normal size - fit great in the store and after few hours of wearing - looked baggy. At first I was happy thinking I was losing weight first jeans after having a baby). So I bought new ones and bought the size smaller - thinking I bought the wrong size the first time and now the same thing is happening. Not as bad as the bigger size but still happening on the butt and esp the legs. I wash then after every wearing and ony dry for a short time for fear of shriking them esp in length.
