Oh Nicole, I'm just catching up on the boards now after a few days offline and I just saw this post 
I'm so sorry for what you had to go through seeing Luca like that and I hope this is the one and only time you have to go through it  I am sitting here tearing up, just thinking about how you must have felt seeing your baby that way 
Keep us posted on how his neurologist appointment goes.. and if you need anything let me know

OMG, I cannot imagine what you went through. Poor Luca and poor mommy and daddy. I am so glad he got a clean bill of health. I know you won't sleep soundly anytime soon after that. Poor thing. I'm glad to hear though that it is something that is not permanent.

OMG-I am so sorry you and Luca had to go through something so scary. I was just reading what happened and my heart sunk.
I hope everything works out and I will be thinking about Luca. Give him lots of hugs and kisses and please update us when you get a chance.

My brother had this once when he was a toddler. He never had one again. So, there's hope!

When I was in college I worked in a pediatric office and I remember a patient having one in the waiting room right in front of my desk. It wasn't even my child and it was very scary. I can only imagine how you felt Nicole.
From what I remember, you are correct he does have a risk of having them again with a high fever. BUT from what I remember this is not something that will always be it something that happens when their bodies are small (though it can happen at any age) he will more than likely grow out of it.

I'm sorry they couldn't give you better answers. ENjoy your baby and try not to live in fear! As I mentioned before, my brother had one of those seizures and never had another one. God Bless you!
