Does anyone else's DC gag themselves?

I'm really at my wit's end. DD has started to shove 3 fingers in her mouth at a time causing her to gag and often throw up (she's 14 months old). I really don't know what to do to stop her. I can't even let her CIO during bedtime anymore b/c she just ends up throwing up all over the place. She's never been a good napper/sleeper and I know she's doing it so she won't have to sleep, but I'm just tired of cleaning up throw up everyday.

Has anyone else's DC done this? If so, how did you get them to stop?

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated...

My son is 3 months old and has been gagging himself alot lately, thankfully no throw-up yet. I was thinking the same thing, about how to get them to stop. I was kind of hoping it would be one of those learning experiences and he'll eventually learn that it's cause and effect.

My dd started doing this too, hasn't thrown up yet but she does it all the time. I'm constantly pushing her hand away from her mouth. I don't understand why she's doing it. She's 13 months.

hannah is 5 mos and she does this constantly.

Thanks ladies...hopefully, they'll all grow out of it soon. I did a little research and found that it could be from teething, the need for attention or just to get a reaction from you. Good luck to you all....

DS is 5 months old and he used to do this a lot. Now he doesn't do it as much.
