Does anyone else just feel blah?

I always feel this way when the holidays are over but this year its so much worse.

We were looking forward to my brothers graduation for so long, I cant believe its come and gone. It feels like the holidays FLEW..I dont even remember celebrating thanksgiving at all. My mom got the flu new years eve and shes still sick. Everyone goes back to normal routine tomorrow and its just making me so sad. I am a christmas fanatic and I look forward to the holidays ALL YEAR LONG.

I am sure some of you feel the same way...and when I know others feel the same, it actually makes me feel a bit better. So anyone else out there have the "blahs?"

Yes...I do...I was just telling my DH the other day I hate when New Years day is over....it just seems so final...have to take the decorations down...then January weather is just dreary...

Already I am looking forward to when I see the flowers and trees start to bloom again!

Me too. During the holidays often feels normal to me. I get to spend time with my kids and not be a crazy psycho hose beast. There are no Saturday classes to teach, no SAT prep to be done. I feel like a normal mom. But starting tomorrow, back to working 3 jobs 7 days a week.

I got this way last year after coming down from a very busy year filled with weddings (including my own), student teaching, graduating, babies (my first nephew was born)...January came and there really wasn't anything big, so I was pretty blah for awhile.

I feel the same way after the Holiday's end. Taking the tree down ALWAYS makes me sad
Although this is when I start to get very busy with work and next month is my sons birthday so I try to stay positive. But all in all I will probably feel blah until Spring.

Every year I feel this way. We are going away on Wed and I hope that would make it better but it did not. Once I am on the beach in Jamacia I hope I will feel better but I started taking down my x-mas decorations and I just cant seem to get excited.

I do! I love the festiveness of the holidays... and Jan/Feb/March always seem so blah because nothing happens. After all the fun, we're back in the daily grind...

Me!! This is such a dreary nasty time of year.
Nothing to look forward to.
I'm trying to look forward to spring but even that seems so far off.
I get super depressed in the winter... and the winters are SOOOO long around here too!

I almost cried taking down some of the Christmas decorations yesterday. I'm also PMSing...but I do hate to see the holidays end...I LIVE for them!!

Yes! But it's pretty situational. I'm 26 & was living at home until last week when I had the "last straw" type of fight with my mother. I'm in the process of fully moving in with a bofreind/best friend. Everything is just so hectic right now.
