Does anyone else have that pit in your stomach feeling because summer is over?
I swear it hit me yesterday that summer was done... and I had a pit in my stomach ever since. I hate the darkness that the winter brings, I hate being stuck inside so much! I will also miss my DD's while they are at school...shhh...don't tell them! LOL

i couldnt agree with you more!! i honestly hate this time of year. The getting dark at 4:30, the chill in the air, school, knowing the kids are going to start getting sick again. Hate it!!!!

normally I hate the fall, since this summer was so darn hot, I can't wait for the cooler weather. I'm tired of sweating, and very tired of my 250.00 coned bill for a one bedroom!!! my kids are not in school yet, so I can't wait to go the the parks in jeans / sweatshirts and not have to hover over my 2 yr old DS to make sure he doesn't get hurt w/ the older kids
I also love that it is darker in the morning bc my boys wake up with the sun

I HATE the fall and winter! I get the same feeling, but I've had year-round sunshine and warm weather for the first 26 years of my life. I find it SOOOOO depressing!

Same....I'm getting really excited for harvest decorations, getting pumpkins etc.
I WILL miss taking DS to the pool, the warm weather and the laid back feeling of summer.
Life gets so hectic when we are all back at school, too. I also dread the cold, dark days of winter when we really don't go outside much

Opposite for me... it's SO ridiculously hot/humid down here I can't wait for dec/jan/feb!! I also hope the end of summer/fall it continues to go fast so we're out of hurricane season (we're in FL).  I get so nervous for oct & nov!

I do hate this transition time though - where it's freezing in the am and warm in the pm - so hard to dress DS!
