Does anyone else get kinda bored in the winter?
I've been getting bored lately. In the winter there's not much to do with the kids and I'm in a rut. Anyone else feel this way????

Bored isn't the word!! I have no family by me and the mall is only 6 miles from me so it's not like going to the mall is an actual outing since it is so close. I can be home in 10 minutes if I make most of the lights. Not to mention their is nothing by me to take them to.
I really have no idea what to do with them and it is frigid outside.

I swear Peter and I are so bored!!!! I feel like I have been in this house since Thanksgiving! I go out sometimes to my mothers. (she lives 1/2 hour away) I live close to Roosevelt Field Mall but I HATE that mall, too much going on in that place! I was so bored the other day I went to Lord and Taylor to buy a top as inspiration to loose weight!(I know don't laugh i need a life) or I go to Walgreens to kill time! I go to the library also how many times a week can I take him there.Please once the spring gets here I'm so outta here!!!! When anyone calls me the first they say is are you at Walgreens?

thats an understatement!!! i HATE this winter. i am dying to take DD to the park, the farm, the backyard without freezing! this is my most hated time of the year just b.c of the boredom that sets in. we go to target, the library, barnes and noble, and my moms to pass the time. i just signed up for gymboree for 7 wks to get us out too. how many more days til spring?

Totally hear you ladies! I agree It is so boring. I just joined gymoree too! This house just seems to be getting smaller and smaller in the winter.
Can not wait to be outside and waering flip flops!!!

I sure do. I am going nuts being couped up. Plus with Gianna being so young and it being so cold I really dont take her anywhere.
I never thought I would look forward to food shopping like I do now.

You know you've hit rock-bottom when you're at that point. I actually did the same--but that Crayola ColorWonder stuff.
I actually give them baths during the day when it's like this--they love it and it kills time!
